How to Manually Update the WiFi Module
Most devices are okay using the WiFi module software version that comes standard with the device's firmware, but if you're having issues with connecting to your WiFi network, you can try updating the WiFi module of your Lattice manually.
You'll need to be connected to your Lattice via Ethernet. Being online is not necessary, you can communicate with your Lattice on your local network.
Please note that if you ever reset the Lattice router (by performing the Reset Network Module operation) after this, you'll need to manually update the WiFi module again!
This requires you to SSH into your Lattice - if you're new to this, here's a guide:

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. 1.
    SSH into your Lattice.
  2. 2.
Copypaste the following command (and hit enter):
    echo "src/gz omega2_core
    src/gz omega2_base
    src/gz omega2_packages
    src/gz omega2_routing
    src/gz omega2_onion" \
    > /etc/opkg/distfeeds.conf
  3. 3.
Type in the following commands (and hit enter after each):
    1. 1.
      opkg update
    2. 2.
      opkg install wifi-warp-core
  4. 4.
Power cycle your Lattice (unplug it and plug it back in).
  5. 5.
Give the system a couple of minutes to initialize and then try connecting to WiFi again.
This may resolve some WiFi connection issues caused by the device's router. You should check previous steps of the WiFi Troubleshooting document prior to manually updating the Lattice's WiFi module.
